History
Emmanuel Christian School was founded in 1979 as a ministry of Emmanuel Church, Fleetwood. The school was the first in the United Kingdom to use Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), a programme devised in the USA with the aim of re-introducing biblical principles and christian standards into education.
The school was originally based in the church premises but, as pupil numbers grew during the 1980’s, a larger home was needed. The school’s move to Singleton Hall, in Poulton-Le-Fylde provided a very pleasant rural setting from which it continued to develop. Sale of this property for building development in 2002 required a relocation.
The re-opening in our current premises at Fylde Community provided a purpose-built school building and is a testimony to the faithfulness of God.
There is no doubt that the school continues to exist because of God’s provision.
